NeoGrid announces its fourth consecutive SDCE 100 Award, Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s annual list of 100 great supply chain projects. NeoGrid is recognized for helping a leading consumer electronics retailer increase forecast accuracy, minimize inventory levels, reduce out-of-stocks and lower costs through its cloud-based Collaborative Planning, Forecasting & Replenishment (CPFR) solution, NeoGrid CPFR.
With NeoGrid CPFR, the retailer is now collaborating and sharing data with more than 260 suppliers to drive more accurate planning and forecasting. To date, the company has raised productivity by 20 percent, and increased product availability while operating with 10 percent fewer inventories. On the supplier side, vendors have increased sales, improved in-stocks and decreased overstocks. The result is a more efficient, customer-centric supply chain.
Paris Gogos, VP product and marketing, NeoGrid North America, said, “While retailers recognize CPFR as an enabling practice, data silos and informal processes prevent these organizations from supporting their efforts. Using advanced supply chain management solutions, both retailers and suppliers can obtain the necessary insight to make demand-based decisions. This creates a competitive advantage for all parties and allows them to deliver greater end-consumer satisfaction.”
“Our goal with 2016’s SDCE 100 is to shine the spotlight on successful and innovative transformation projects that deliver bottom-line value to small, medium and large enterprises across the supply chain,” said Ronnie Garrett, editor of Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “The selected projects can serve as a roadmap for supply chain executives looking for new opportunities to drive improvement in their own operations. We congratulate all of our winners for a job well done!”
The official list of the 2016 SDCE 100 is available now at www.SDCExec.com, and will appear in the July 2016 issue of Supply & Demand Chain Executive.
